English Class - Housing, Furniture and Appliances - Living English Lessons
English Class - Learn English with your fellow Houstonians at the Library. With HPL’s Living English Lessons, you learn to read, write, and speak English that connects to your everyday life in Houston. These interactive lessons help you go grocery shopping, talk to a doctor, take care of pets, and more! All levels and language backgrounds are welcome. Classes are free.
HPL would like to thank the City of Houston Office of New Americans and Immigrant Communities, the City of Houston Health Department, and the Houston Immigration Legal Services Collaborative for their partnership in designing this curriculum for our City.
