Solar Eclipse Party In-Person
Join us to watch and be awed by the Solar Eclipse. Dance to a playlist of space-themed music on the Plaza. Inside the library, enjoy a space-themed storytime, an interactive display, and plenty of opportunities to take photos with aliens, rockets, and more. Costumes are encouraged!
10:30-11:30 AM Storytime and craft
11:30-11:55 AM Speaker: Melissa Mason, Assistant Director for Secondary STEM at Rice University, talks about the eclipse and presents a STEM activity.
11:55-12:30 PM Eclipse Viewing
This event is free and open to the public. Due to limited supplies, Solar Eclipse glasses will be given to participants who registered.
