Black History Month Author Talk with Toya Boudy

Black History Month Author Talk with Toya Boudy In-Person / Online

Culinary artist Toya Boudy is in conversation with Fox 26 Houston news anchor Anthony Antoine to discuss her new book, Cooking For the Culture.

A book sale and signing follows the program. Copies will be available for purchase from local bookstore, Kindred Stories.

TOYA BOUDY specializes in putting a unique twist on New Orleans-style dishes and cooks with a Southern flair. As a native New Orleanian, she started honing her culinary skills at a young age and used her talent to kick-start a successful career. As a culinary authority on Cajun and Creole cuisine, she enjoys bringing creativity to the kitchen and teaching people how to take a piece of New Orleans back home with them. In her role, she is also an ambassador for Louisiana, where she works with organizations to elevate and strengthen diversity within the hospitality, tourism, and culinary industry.

This program will be livestreamed on Houston Public Library's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/houstonlibrary.
