An Afternoon with Lauren Anderson

An Afternoon with Lauren Anderson In-Person

AAHRC is honored to commence our 2024 Black History Month exploration of African Americans and the Arts with the incomparable Lauren Anderson.  A native Houstonian, Ms. Anderson's illustrious career is highlighted by leading roles in all the great classical ballets, appearances across the world to critical acclaim and the historic distinction of being the first African American principal dancer of the Houston Ballet.

Joining Ms. Anderson in conversation are Harrison Guy, founder and artistic director, and Walter Hull, executive director, of Urban Souls Dance Company.

We hope you'll join us for this special event!
