In the movie Fahrenheit 451, humans in the future are happy and productive, but at a cost. They can't own or read books and must put special drops in their eyes daily. Guy Montag is a firefighter who burns books. He meets someone who teaches him that books contain knowledge that can explain the dreams in his mind. He learns that rebels have found a new way to save books. When Captain Beatty realizes that Guy has joined the rebellion, Guy must make a difficult decision to save the collective thoughts of humanity.
