Journey to Citizenship: Civics and Literacy In-Person
Join us for a comprehensive 7-week program designed for adult learners to master the reading and writing vocabulary of the naturalization test. Learn about the process of becoming a U.S. citizen through detailed discussions on application eligibility, the naturalization interview, and the essential 100 civics questions featured on the Citizenship exam. Each 90-minute class covers U.S. history and government, rights and responsibilities, and integrated civics. The topics of each lesson relate to the civics exam questions. Classes meet once a week; attendance at all sessions of the program is encouraged.
Participants are welcome to retake classes.
Independent study is recommended as class attendance alone may not be enough to pass the interview.
