Ready, Set, Bank In-Person
Houston Public Library has partnered with Capital One on the Ready, Set, Bank Program. Ready, Set, Bank teaches you how to navigate online and mobile banking. Participants will be guided on how to manage a banking account online using a computer, tablet, or mobile phone. They will also learn how to check account balances, how to deposit checks remotely, protection from fraud and much more. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptop, tablet, or smarthphone to class.
Participants will be provided with hands-on tutorials and video tutorials as well as in person teaching. This will be a 5-week session which includes the first four weeks of instruction, and the fifth week will be a graduation ceremony. This program is designed for seniors but is free and open to the public. This event will take place at the Fifth Ward Multi-Service Center at 4014 Market St. , Houston, TX 77020.
