Join TAC – Improve Library Services for Teens!

Are you a teen passionate about improving your community and library services? Teen Advisory Club (TAC) is a group of motivated teens who work together to enhance library services for young people in Houston.

By joining TAC, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Shape library programs & services – Help plan teen-focused events, suggest new programs, and share ideas on how to make the library a more teen-friendly space.
  • Earn community service credit – Volunteer for special library projects and receive community service hours that count toward your high school graduation requirements.
  • Get priority access – Be the first to register for popular teen events and activities at Houston Public Library (HPL).

As a TAC member, you'll also become a library ambassador, spreading the word about library events and programs to your friends, classmates, and social networks. Whether you’re interested in event planning, leadership, or just want to make a difference, TAC is the perfect place for you!
