Summer Reading for Grown-Ups: Disaster Literacy 101 In-Person

Join Houston Public Library and Houston Community College – Northeast for a course that explores the importance of mental health in resiliency and how to recognize when help is needed. Participants will develop a strong understanding of resilience, learn the role emotional intelligence plays in building a resilient mindset, and strategies on how to develop personal resilience. Build a resilient mindset and develop the behaviors that support resiliency. Develop a resiliency plan and apply strategies and skills for enhancing resilience to a variety of situations when managing yourself and others.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
