Houston We Have a Collection: NASA and the History of Space City Online
Ever since the early 1960s, Houston and space have been inseparable. From the construction and opening of the Manned Spacecraft Center to the retro-futuristic appeal of the Astrodome, Houston has truly earned its title of Space City. The Houston History Research Center invites everyone this July 18th to celebrate Houston's enduring love of all things out of this world. This online program will showcase HHRC collections that feature NASA history as well as the Houston's history as "Space City."
