LGBTQ+ Story Hour for Adults: Celebrate Diversity Through Stories In-Person
Immerse yourself in powerful stories that reflect the rich diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. Join us for an intimate, one-hour event where you’ll experience compelling readings from LGBTQ+ authors and explore important themes surrounding LGBTQ+ experiences. Each month, we’ll read a short story or book excerpt focused on LGBTQ+ themes or written by LGBTQ+ authors. From heartfelt narratives to thought-provoking tales, the readings are carefully selected to resonate with diverse experiences within the LGBTQ+ community. After the reading, we’ll open the floor for a brief discussion. Share your thoughts, ask questions, and connect with others as we explore the deeper meanings and emotions behind the stories. This month's selection is No One Can Pronounce My Name by Rakesh Satyal.
