Write Out Loud

Write Out Loud In-Person

What: Genealogical Writing Special Interest Group (Gen Writing SIG) — designed to help you transform your family history research from folders and files into compelling written stories.

Blurb: Our ancestors were as human as we are. They lived, laughed, loved, stumbled, triumphed, and endured tragedies. Join us once a month at Clayton Library for Write Out Loud, a new special interest group dedicated to turning genealogical research into vivid narratives. Together, we’ll explore how to bring names, dates, and places to life through storytelling.

Each session features a fresh writing theme, so whether you attend regularly or occasionally, you’ll always find inspiration without losing momentum. While bringing a laptop or computer can be helpful, it’s not required; just bring your curiosity, your notes, and your passion for family history.
