Opera to Go! with the Houston Grand Opera In-Person
Opera to Go! is a fully staged, high-energy, 45-minute opera designed for students and families. Presented by Houston Grand Opera, the performance features The Velveteen Rabbit, the beloved story of a toy rabbit who longs to become real through the love of his owner. Based on the classic book by award-winning author Margery Williams Bianco, the opera includes music by Mary Carol Warwick and a libretto by Kate Pogue. The program is performed in schools and community venues throughout the Greater Houston area and across Texas.
