Through her Better Next Chapter series, she blends timeless literary lessons with strengths-based and emotional intelligence insights to help individuals rediscover purpose, deepen clarity, and lead with greater connection.
Accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and certified in CliftonStrengths® and EQ-i 2.0®, Marianita specializes in helping leaders understand their strengths, navigate change, and build resilience. She believes that—much like the memorable characters we grew up reading about—each of us is continually evolving, and the right story can illuminate new possibilities for growth.
With 23 years of experience in leadership development, Marianita’s career spans journalism, public relations, nonprofit leadership, and higher education, giving her a rich perspective on how identity is shaped and reshaped over time. She partners with executives, educators, and community teams to strengthen self-awareness, improve decision-making, and align behavior with purpose.
