Meditative Drawing with Stephanie Gonzalez In-Person
This Pride Month, join us for a calming and creative meditative drawing workshop by local LGBTQ artist Stephanie Gonzalez. This workshop combines simple drawing techniques with mindfulness practices to help participants unwind, focus, and express themselves through art. This welcoming and inclusive program invites participants of all identities to relax, connect, and create community in an artistic space.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: STEPHANIE GONZALEZ (b. 1988, Monterrey, Mexico) is a Houston-based multidisciplinary artist whose work explores intuition, metaphysical space, and energetic connection. Influenced by both Mexican and American cultural perspectives, her practice evolved from landscape painting into layered abstraction and mixed media using found and discarded materials. Gonzalez holds a BFA in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Houston and an MFA from Houston Baptist University. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Masur Museum of Art and CICA Museum in South Korea. Her current work investigates spiritual identity, creating geometric and intuitive compositions that reflect interconnectedness and unseen energetic fields.
