Typewriter Type-In In-Person
Austin Typewriter, Ink. hosts public “type-ins” where people can step away from screens and spend some time unplugged, sitting down with vintage typewriters and just writing. No experience needed - just curiosity. It’s an easygoing, welcoming space where people strike up conversations, share ideas, and turn a blank page into something real, whether that’s a letter, a poem, or a few honest thoughts. We bring the machines, show you the basics, and let you slow down for a while and enjoy the simple, tactile act of putting words on paper.
