ComicTalks: Hispanic Representation in Comics In-Person
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, join Houston Public Library as we discuss Hispanic superheroes, Hispanic comic creators, and the importance of representation in comic books with Miguel Ramirez (AKA Rat Boy Miki), the owner of Tricera Comics and creator of Gargoyle, Mega Jaguar, and Dark Phantom.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required if you plan on attending in-person at Houston Public Library’s Smith Neighborhood Library location. This event will also be livestreamed on the Houston Public Library's Facebook page.

Miki Ramirez is a comic book artist and animator from Houston Texas. Known best for their monster art and colorful character designs inspired by the early 2000s and created horror driven books such as Gargoyle: Monster for Hire & Mega Jaguar. Their latest industry work has been covers for Mothra: Queen of the Monsters issue #5 and The Return of Camazotz.
