ABOUT THE AUTHOR: MARGIE SEAMAN is an author who fulfilled a lifelong dream by completing the novel she was always meant to write, Someday Belongs to Us. Drawing inspiration from her travels — including cruises through the Panama Canal — her stories blend romance, adventure, and the belief that new chapters of life can begin at any age.

An avid traveler and lifelong optimist, Margie began writing seriously after her eightieth birthday, deciding that if her dream of becoming an author was ever to happen, the time was now. Published at age 85, her debut novel marked the beginning of what she hopes will become a trilogy. Much of the story's setting reflects real cruise experiences, bringing authenticity to the ports, excursions, and life at sea described in her books.

Beyond writing, Margie is President of Citation Solutions, bringing nearly forty years of experience in marketing, sales promotion, and web design. Her career included leadership roles with Foley's Department Stores, where she helped develop executive training programs and participated in the opening of 43 retail locations across multiple states. Her background in marketing shaped her philosophy that a website is "a storefront on the internet," designed to help businesses grow and succeed.

A native Houstonian and graduate of the University of Houston, Margie is a mother of three, grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother of five. She enjoys traveling, camping, and hiking, and believes deeply that life should be lived fully — and that dreams can be realized at any age.
