Rare Books Room Showcase In-Person
Part of HPL’s History Research Centers’ series: Inside the Walls, the Houston History Research Center will share information about collections that are housed within the walls of each location. This presentation will showcase rare, interesting, and unique items from the Rare Books Room/HHRC Vault. This event will offer exclusive, insider access to materials that are normally restricted for preservation purposes. This is a rare opportunity for our customers to see, touch, and learn about some of the most precious treasures in our collection.

This in-person library program is hosted by: HPL’s Houston History Research Center.
Location details: 550 McKinney St. Houston, TX 77002. Parking is available under the Central Library for $2 per hour.
